RUGBY:

Our aim is to teach the students the basics of Rugby – passing, scrummage, line-outs and the ability to run forward and pass backward.  I also hope to teach them the fair play and camaraderie that is always evident in Rugby; to be able to be aggressive on the field but be able to be social with the other team afterwards.

The New Image Rugby played within the school’s union is non-contact.  However, it is structured in a way to ensure the student’s learn the basic principles of Rugby without endangering the young students.  The game is 10-a-side with unlimited substitutions.
